When I first started this website, it was to share my journey from bondage to freedom. A journey from lukewarm christianity to discovering a burning desire to have more of Christ indwelling in me. A journey from "Christian City"- to the narrow path that He alone leads us on.

On this journey I've discovered many books, many sermons, many ideas and opinions, many preachers and teachers- some great ones and some not-so-great ones. But at the end of it all, the focus always needs to comes back to Christ. Him and Him alone.

Amidst all the opinions and methods and strategies and teachings, there is only one Jesus- only one Answer. "He must increase, but I must decrease." (Jn.3:30) Simply growing in Christ-likeness -becoming more of Him and less of ourselves- will produce the fruit that the Lord desires to see in our lives. As a dear brother in Christ* once said, we don't need any more of the Lord (He has already given us everything we need in Him), we just need less of everything else. And that includes our old nature, our old "self".

Have you been looking to get victory over sin, over your old ways and habits, over your old "self", over the enemy? I have found the answer in a very simple word: Surrender. Complete and total surrender to the Lord. Every part, every area, every thought. Let Him replace your old ways with Himself- with His ways. He will not force Himself on you, so in order for Him to have access to your heart, you must surrender it to him , so that He can make the changes that you and He so desperately want to see.

I hope this site will be an encouragement for those desiring to become more of Him and less of ourselves. May we continue to surrender all to our King!
