First of all, thank you to those who have been checking in on me and asking about my hubby. It really warms my heart and blesses my soul to know that so many of you care about me and mine!
Update on hubby: The laser eye surgery went remarkably well and a lot faster than we had anticipated. We thought he would be at least 4 hours in the doctor's office, but he was done in 2! My hubby actually sent me and my boys to the used book store while he was having this done. It made me rather uneasy to not be there for this, but he said they wouldn't allow me to be with him during any of the procedure and he knew we would sit in the waiting room . . . waiting. He was quite smart on this as it made it much easier on us (and I think him) to not be sitting there wondering what was happening. I was quite shocked when he called on my cell phone so quickly and said he was done! Amazing what doctors can do! We don't know the results yet. It will take 6 weeks for the bleeding and moisture behind the eyes to completely dry up. At that point, we will know what the results of this procedure are. Hubby hasn't noticed a difference in his eye sight, but according to the doctors, this is normal. We are still praying for 100% healing and restoration of the sight hubby has lost.
I have been busy, but with exactly what, I couldn't say. The days speed by and I know I've been busy, but I can't put my finger on any one thing that keeps me so occupied! I know that I'm not getting the writing done I want to get done nor am I getting the watercolor painting done that I want to get done. I've decided that I'm going to have to just schedule those activities into my day every day and NOT feel guilty about it!
I have lots of pictures to share, but wanted to just get this quick post up and let you know that everything is good with my hubby (still pray for him, though, if you think of it!) and that I'm still around. More to come. . . .

I'm so thankful that the surgery went well for your husband. Hopefully when everything heals up his sight will be fully restored and back to 100%. I'm going to pray that it will anyway! :o)
