Sunday Thoughts

So many of you contacted me about my son and I am so grateful for your concern and your prayers! What a blessing to have friends that care!

My son is better, praise the Lord! He is still taking the medication that the doctor at the emergency room gave him and it seems to have helped him, although it keeps him groggy and sleeping a lot.  I'm just thankful that he is breathing! I think it really helped him having the fluids given to him through the IV when he was in the hospital as he was more dehydrated than any of us realized from the influenza.  He is still coughing and is still sick, but he is noticeably better and my Mommy heart is SO thankful!

We actually had snow yesterday and today! It was actually quite a storm and we had a few inches. I really thought that Spring was finally here, but alas, it's not to be yet.  Now we have to worry about soggy roads and muddy floors again.  My poor oldest son will have to wash doggy feet, too, which is no fun.  I'll be glad when it really does get warm again and stay that way!

I haven't done very much the past two days but spend time with my boys and hubby.  I'm STILL nursing my knee which has a huge knot in it.  I don't know what the doctor did when he gave me my shot, but he did something.  I've never had this before. In any case, I have been laid up again and it's forcing me to be introspective.  That can be unsettling if my mind isn't focused on what it should be focused on.

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." – Hebrews 11:1

God bless you - Julie
