Book Review - Love In The Balance

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Handsome Cowboy or Debonair Tycoon.
How's a Girl to Choose?
Molly Lovelace dreams of a life without cares in Lockhart, Texas. She also dreams of handsome wrangler Bailey Garner, her ardent but inconsistent beau. The problem is, with Bailey's poor prospects, she just can't fit the two dreams together.

Then mysterious stranger Edward Pierrepont sweeps into town-and her life-and for the first time Molly wonders if she's met the man who can give her everything. But he won't be in Lockhart long and while it certainly seems like he talks about their glorious future together, she can't quite get Bailey out of her mind.
What's a girl to do with all these decisions when love is in the balance?

MY REVIEW:
I enjoyed this romantic tale involving two people who are very different and at different levels of faith and understanding.
Molly starts out being rather manipulative and narcissistic, especially in dealing with her parents and her boyfriend, Bailey.  She does stuff that actually made me cringe and, at points, it was hard to like her. However, as she grew in maturity (both emotionally and spiritually) she started to make different choices and she was very likable. It's fun to read a book like this where we actually see the growth of a character(s).

Not only is Bailey in her life but she also meets someone else whom she knows her parents will more likely approve of because of his status. It's interesting to see the character differences in these men and I especially liked Bailey because he gave great thought to what the Lord would want of him.

This was a very enjoyable book. Once I got into it, I couldn't put it down and really enjoyed the relaxing, intriguing story. The story will take you through the twists and turns of Molly's and Bailey's life and it's quite a ride. I highly recommend this sweet romance.
