Counting Our Blessings - Link Up!

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
    for his steadfast love endures forever!

Psalm 118:1

I won't sugarcoat things - this week was a difficult one. I'm still feeling exhausted and fuzzy headed. My days are filled with just trying to get the basics of my household and life done. 

As always, though, the LORD is good! He is loving, He is caring, He is amazing!

Here is my list of blessings this week:

121. We have had some really lovely weather here. Our monsoon season has arrived here and we have had three full days of cooling rains and open windows and doors. Oh, to have fresh air coming through my house instead of air-conditioning is pure sweetness! 

 

122. I am so blessed by the view of God's creation out my front door! The mountains at the edge of our valley are just so beautiful. With all the rain we have been getting, our high desert is getting green and blooming. Thank you, God, for this refreshing, life-giving rain!

  

123.  My husband blessed me this week by going along with me on my grocery trip when I didn't want to go alone. He was very tired, but for me, he willingly went along. What a blessing he is to me!

124. TCM has been showing highlights from the Johnnie Carson shows on Monday nights. It has been so wonderful seeing some of the actors and actresses that I grew up loving. I also love the clean humor we see on his show. 

125.  I have had some time to work on my cross stitch project this week. Or maybe, I should say I've had the energy. Here's a picture of what I've been working on. 

This will be a bob when I'm done. The little stitches in the middle are over 1 thread and it will be an adorable rabbit. I also finished one of my projects which I will share this Friday on Show and Tell Friday. I love stitching and am so thankful that I was able to spend some time doing this!
