This book is one of the best written books I've read I a long time. The writing is beautiful and poetic and I loved every word of it!
Finn and Eden meet at Pepperdine College and almost immediately fall in love. Their connection is very deep and they both know they are truly meant for each other. This is the first time Finn has fallen in love, in fact, he really hasn't dated at all before Eden.
Finn has been a server to people. He has been all over the world helping people to better themselves. His grandfather, who raised him, was also a server of people. Finn and his grandfather are very close and they leave each other letter in a mason jar that sits on his grandfathers desk. The letters from his grandfather are profound and always full of love.
Eden has come to Pepperdine to recover from a difficult relationship with a former boyfriend. She doesn't talk about it and Finn doesn't realize that she's had a difficult time. They share so much in common and these are the things they focus on. However, one day it all ends.
This story is written from the viewpoint of Finn and how he views their relationship and their separation and what it does to him. His grandfather has many profound things to say that were just beautiful. This helps Finn as he comes to terms with all that has happened.
I believe this book will become a classic. It's written so well, so beautifully, it will grab your heart and mind and won't let go even when you're done with the last page. I highly recommend this book!
