Book Review - Another Day Another Dali

ABOUT THE BOOK:

When a valuable Salvador Dali painting belonging to her grandmother’s friend is mysteriously replaced by a forgery, FBI Special Agent Serena Jones is called in to investigate. Serena hopes finding the thief will also mean finally measuring up to Nana’s expectations. But when the evidence points to members of the owner’s own household, it becomes increasingly clear that Serena won’t be winning any popularity contests.

The Dali isn’t the only painting that’s fallen prey to the forgery-replacing thief, raising the specter of a sophisticated theft ring–one with links to dirty cops, an aspiring young artist, and the unsolved murder of Serena’s grandfather.

With plenty of edge-of-your-seat moments, Another Day, Another Dali gives the plucky Serena Jones–and readers–a new high-stakes case to crack.

MY REVIEW:

I have enjoyed the other Serena Jones books and this book is another favorite! There is so much mystery, intrigue and humor, it keeps you reading page after page late into the night!

FBI Special Agent Serena Jones specializes in art theft and has been on the trail of some art thieves and forgeries when her grandmother summons her to her home for a meeting. Since her grandmother has never approved of her choice of career, she's nervous as to what her grandmother wants. When she tells her she needs her to investigate the theft of her friends missing masterpiece, Serena is floored but determined to prove to her grandmother she does her job well.

From here, things get very interesting and confusing for Serena as she realizes there are several people that could have stolen the painting and replaced it with the forgery that's now in it's place. It opens up more information on the other investigation as well.

As always,  I love the relationship between Serena and her partner, Tanner. He always has her back and is there when she needs him. I also enjoy the relationship between Serena and her friend and neighbor, Nate. I love the triangle and seeing how the men are always trying to vie for her attention. Serena's family is so loving and there is a lot of fun humor between them.

If you like a great mystery with believable characters, you'll love this book as much as I did. It's highly enjoyable and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series! I give this book 5 out of 5 stars.
