Counting Our Blessings - LinkUp!

It's such a good thing for our heart, minds and spirit to count our blessings!

42.

I've been doing more stuff with my papers again. I have always loved making cards to send to people and this is my recent simple, yet cute, card. I actually got most of the components for this card from a British magazine (I know, you're shocked - lol) on card making. I love that they give you so much in the package then ideas inside the magazine on how to use the things. I had a fun time making this and I do love those little owls!

43. One of my most favorite cross stitch designers is "Just Nan". When I visited my parents, I was able to find so many wonderful charts by her at the needlework store I went to. Here are the cute things I got...

That pink fabric is for the little mouse in the "Summer Mouse in a House". I thought it was so great that they cut the fabric then sewed around the edges so it wouldn't unravel. This shop just went the extra mile, as far as I'm concerned.

Finally, I got these beauties! Counting pins and a needle holder. I may do the mouse later for the needle holder but I though it was gorgeous all on it's own.

44. Finally, a couple more pictures from my trip. My son is standing in front of the playhouse I played in as a child for many years! I can remember playing school, doing crafts and even sleeping in that little house. I spent so many fun filled hours in that little house - it was a huge blessing in my childhood to have it.

This is a picture of me my son took before we went to the ceremony for my Dad. I loved our backyard growing up and it's still beautiful.

I hope you'll share your blessings, too! You can link up on the linky below or share your blessings in the comments.

  1. Wow! What an impressive amount of new cross stitch stash you bought. It is all so very beautiful. What a sweet playhouse! Well, I am definitely blessed by A/C. Without it my headaches would probably send me to the ER.
