MY REVIEW:

I love a book that grabs me and won't let go until the last page and this book definitely fits this for me! I seriously had the hardest time putting the book down as I wanted to know what was going to happen next. Although this is book 3 in the series, I was never seriously lost, however, I do think it would have been great to have the background of the first 2 books before reading this one. Plus, this book was so good, I would like to read the first two!

I really liked the historical elements of this book, and while I'm not a huge fan of jumping time periods, the authors pulled it off beautifully in this book. They gave me time to absorb what I was reading about one time period before going off to the next and it made sense to the story. I also loved the mysterious story line as I am a huge mystery fan.

I found myself really cheering Nicole on as she had just finished up in a recovery program and is trying to set her addiction aside and start her life anew. I liked how we see Nicole's ancestor, Therese, having a connection to Nicole and the strength of these two women coming through.

I really found myself invested in these characters and enjoyed each and every moment spent with them through these pages. I really think you'll like this book and give it 5 out of 5 stars.
