Giving Thanks - Plans
This post is all about the "Giving Thanks" celebration that Kelli is having at her blog.
This Thanksgiving will be totally different for us than it normally is. We are going to have Thanksgiving with my sweet Sister and her family. Her children will be there with their families, so it's going to be a great celebration! Here's where we are going to stay:
Yes, it will be warm enough for us to go swimming if we want. We will have a room over-looking the pool and have a patio outside our room. How totally lovely! Not that we will be in our room much because I'm going to want to spend as much time with my sister as I can.
Here's the lobby of the hotel we are staying at. Isn't it just gorgeous? We normally wouldn't stay in a place this nice, but we are being gifted with this lovely room. Between getting to be with my family and my sister and her family and staying in this beautiful hotel, it's going to be a wonderful Thanksgiving for us!
I plan on putting on a Thanksgiving feast with my in-laws when we return. Normally, I do the cooking for Thanksgiving and they join us. However, this year, I'm going to wait about 2 weeks after Thanksgiving and do my dinner. That way, Christmas will be our traditional finger foods and no stress day.
We are looking forward to this Thanksgiving and spending it with my wonderful sister and her family!
God bless you ~ Julie
