Book Review - Everything Romance

Everything Romance

I have so enjoyed this book packed full of information about love!! There is so much that is special about this book and all that's inside!

There are quotes about love, love letters between sweethearts that you'll know like Mark Twain and his fiance, Olivia Langdon; or between Pierre Curie and Maria Currie (who knew that a scientist could be so romantic?!).  There are many beautiful quotes about love, recipes for you and your loved one to enjoy, sweet, little, short stories, and more!

I liked the date ideas, too.  I've been married for over 30 years, and you would think that we had been on every conceivable type of date, but there are so many in this little book that I would like to enjoy with my hubby.  The great thing about these date ideas is that they aren't expensive and the book gives you all the little details to make the date something special.

The funnest part of this book for me were the "Did you know" boxes that are packed full of information you probably didn't know.  These little tidbits of information were so interesting!  I really enjoy little facts and having these scattered throughout the book was fun.

There are also little "do's" and "don'ts" for making you love better.  Some of these were obvious, but a lot were very thoughtful and made me think about how I am with my own true love.

My absolute favorite part of the book, though, is the Scripture scattered throughout and the beautiful prayers that you can pray for and/or with your sweetheart.  I loved so many of the prayers and, although, I knew the Scriptures in the book, reading them in the context of loving my husband brought a new light to them.

This is a great book for making your marriage or relationship better. I highly recommend this book for those who love to read about love.  It is a wonderful book full of very sweet yet insightful information.  I intend to keep it on my bedside table to read and remind myself to treat my sweet husband with the love he deserves.

  3. Julie, you don't look old enough to have been married 30 years! Wow. Of course I don't feel old that old either but I am. I hope you and the family are doing well. I'm keeping you in my prayers. I know what a difference prayers make. I also posted about my Morning with Jesus devotional that I won from you. Thanks again, we're enjoying it so much. You can see the post here:
