Counting Our Blessings - Link Up!!

It's the beginning on a new year. Can you believe it's already the 8th of January? My goodness...the older I get, the quicker the days go by. Isn't there a song with lyrics somewhat like that? :) Since it's a new year, I'm starting off my blessings at "1" again. I'm looking forward to all the Lord has for me this year. I know one thing for sure - I am NOTHING without Him!!

1. I was blessed by a fantastic teaching at church for the new year. We have an amazing pastor plus wonderful assistant pastors and elders - all who are great teachers as well. This was one of those teachings where you are just writng furiously to get it all down and remember it.

2. I have been blessed by my friend, Angela, who truly is going through the same journey that I am. Is there anything more blessed than having a friend who understands you, accepts you and loves you? It boggles the mind how I can "meet" this great woman of God who lives in Canada. We may never meet in person, but we will meet someday when we are with the Lord worshipping Him before His throne!

3.  I'm blessed that my Christmas decorations are pretty much packed away for the year. The tree is down, the ornaments all packed away and there are just a couple of things left to put away. I so enjoyed my tree while it was up, but now I'm enjoying having my house back to normal, too.

4.  I am blessed that the Lord continues to care for us. It's been a lean year financially yet the Lord provides. It's been a tough year health-wise, yet the Lord heals. He is my greatest blessing, as always.

5. I am blessed that the Lord has a plan for my life. I'm not always sure what that plan is, but that's okay. He knows. He, who holds the stars in His hands, knows where I should go and what I should do. All I have to do is follow Him.
