We had such a lovely, wonderful Christmas! It was quiet but that was the beauty of it. I hope your Christmas was a lovely!
On Christmas Eve day, we made our cut-out sugar cookies. I did it with my sons and we had the best time! I used a new recipe and they were actually more like shortbread than sugar cookies and they were wonderful! I got the recipe from this magazine that my hubby bought me.
I love the Gooseberry Patch magazines and books and this one did not disappoint! As I told my hubby, the sugar cookie recipe was worth it all in itself!

Some of the cookie cutters I have are from my childhood but most are ones I've collected through the years. I can't tell you how much fun we had making these cookies. I will always remember it with fond memories.
