MY REVIEW:
I was first introduced to Louie Giglio when I did one of his Bible reading plans on YouVersion. I was so impressed by it, I just had to read The Comeback! I was definitely not disappointed.
This book is for anyone who has ever been disappointed by life (hello! I think we can all relate to this!) and is not sure how to make that comeback. There are so many profound thoughts and so mch guidance from Mr. Giglio in this book! I literally couldn't put it down!
He shares stories from the Bible - the story of Joseph and Jesus, for a couple - and how they had so much thrown at them in their lives. He shares how hard some of the things they went through were. How hopeless at the time they seemed. However, each of these men had a comeback. Not only Biblical stories, but stories of real people who have been through really difficult things, including Mr. Giglio himself.
I absolutely love this book! I was so inspired and learned so much! I will definitely be re-reading this book again and again. For those times when I'm not sure where I'm at, this book will be just the encouragement I need to not give up. I highlighted so many sentences, there is very little white space left! I just love it and give it 5 out of 5 stars. I highly, highly recommend this book to everyone!
