Book Review - Go Ahead and Like It

MY REVIEW:

This book was different from any other book I've ever read. I really enjoyed the format, the illustrations and the photos.

This book is all about lists. Making lists about things you like. It's not even about the big things you like - the author encourages you to look at the little things around you. Sitting in a traffic jam? Look around you - what beauty is there that you can like? I really liked this concept. So many times when we're in a stressful situation, we focus on the stress rather than looking around at things we can enjoy.

The author also shares about using lists at parties to get to know others better, which sounds like an excellent party game! Share a list of your likes with someone you're just getting to know and it helps them to get to know you better, faster.

It's all about focusing on the highlights of life, rather than the downsides. This is a quick read, but a book you'll find yourself referring back to again and again. I really enjoyed this book and give it 4 out of 5 stars.

*This book was provided to me for my honest review by the Blogging for Books program.
