I'm so excited to be sharing the following news. . .I am doing craft designing again! I can't tell you how this makes my heart sing! I am so incredibly excited!
I'm sure I've shared on here that I used to do craft designing and I loved it! I started in 1997 with my first project being published in Quick & Easy Painting that same year. I did design work until 2005 when I had to take a hiatus because of my cancer. I thought I would be going right back to it, but then the next year my hubby had his open heart surgery and then the next year his cancer, and it's been like that every year, it seems like, and I never really felt I had the time (or energy, to be quite honest) to devote to my business. However, I've missed it terribly!
I told you I've been really thinking and praying about some things and this was one of them. I really feel the Lord is leading me in this direction and I feel an excitement that I haven't felt in a very long time. I'm also hoping to start teaching once again in my studio. I've always loved teaching and it would be a great extension of my designing.

This project was published in DecoArt's "Let's Paint" Magazine. It's always been one of my favorite projects and I hope you like it, too!
