Counting Our Blessings - Linkup

Hello friends.  I hope you had a wonderful week full of blessings!

I was sent these beautiful flowers that my friend made me. They are made of paper! She is such an amazing artist and I am so blessed to have some of her gorgeous flowers. My arrangement does not do them justice but no matter how I put them in the vase, they just shine beauty! This is my very best friend who sent these to me and every time I look at them, I remember how blessed I am to have a friend like her. Thank you, Joyce, for blessing me with not only these flowers but a beautiful, soft wrap, turban and card. I love them all so much!!

This just makes me happy...

This is my planner and journal for 2020.  I love the new Wonder Woman movie and can't wait to see the new one next year. It makes me smile every time I look at these and will be cheerful as I go into the new year.

I had my third chemo treatment last week and it has been a tough week.  I've had some side effects, some not so bad,  and others are worse or new. They gave me a shot to boost my white blood cell count the day after my treatment and it has made everything worse. I won't do that again unless my life depends on it.

Since I have the third treatment done, I will be doing a CT scan next.  It's scheduled for Monday, December 16th at 11:00 mountain time. I would so appreciate you praying that the cancer spots on my liver and lung are gone so I can have my hysterectomy. She said that if it is clear, they would do the surgery at the end of this year or the beginning of 2020. I am so hoping and praying that the chemo has done it's job and that the spots are gone! Thank you so much for praying with me on this!

Counting Our Blessings - Link Up!

I know I've been rather quiet lately. I've been really tired and not really feeling too great. Lots of pain, swelling and just over all exhaustion. It is what it is and I'm trying to be gentle with myself and rest as much as I need to. In all of this, there are still blessings to be found!

43.  I had to go to the big city, 2 hours away, and see my surgeon who did the bypass in my leg. I had to have an ultra-sound to make sure everything is still working properly. Thankfully, all looks good! I'm very thankful and it's a relief for another six months until we do another ultra-sound. My surgeon is in a new practice, in a new building so while I was there, I took some pictures. I love the downtown area and got some really pretty photos.

I also took some pictures of the gorgeous flowers they have in the city and made a collage of the scenery and flowers.

I love visiting the city - especially the downtown area. I wouldn't want to live there, but I love being able to visit for a day. Very thankful and blessed for my wonderful doctor, my good report on my leg, and for a lovely day in the city.

44. My hubby and I made a little trek into the Goodwill one day and I found this cutie pie in a bag with other toys for $2.99! She's in wonderful shape and still has her TY tag.

As you all know, I just love Pinky Pie from My Little Pony and was thrilled to find this little treasure. Amazing enough, everything in the bag with her was something I could use! So for that little amount of money, I got a bag of cute stuff. What a blessing!

45.  I had the opportunity to trade postcards with a girl that lives in Boston. I had never heard of doing this before and thought it sounded like a fun idea! She sent me this cute card.

I sent her a card from my area and it was so much fun doing this! I'm thinking this will be something I want to do again. I would love to do it with ladies who live overseas. How fun would that be? This was so fun getting this in the mail!!

46.  On days I feel pretty good, I love working in my planner. My hubby got me some adorable cards at Hobby Lobby when we were in the big city and they are so inspirational and fun. I put this card in the front of my planner...

It reminds me to shine for Jesus in everything I do! Don't you just love this? I also love the washi tape I used to put it in the planner. It's so much fun to change these cards out and remind myself of good, positive things!

Now it's your turn to share your blessings! You can share anything that will bless others - something you've written, made, or a list of your blessings. I just want you to feel that you can share on this link-up whatever blesses you! Please share my button on your blog. I really appreciate that as it directs others to this link-up.

Counting Our Blessings - Link Up

Hello, dear friends - Are you ready to count your blessings? Let's get started!!

38. As you know from my previous post, I had a rather tough week health wise. However, today I'm feeling a bit better, and for that, I'm so thankful and feeling so blessed!

39.  I did work on my shawl over the weekend, a little at a time. I got the border finished on one side.

I'm loving this shawl and the border is so extra special.

40.  I am so happy that I found the girl who groomed our poodles! She left the salon she was working with and, of course, no one would tell me where she had gone. I started calling around and found where she's working almost immediately! Hallelujah! The last grooming experience with someone else was horrible and I didn't want to go through that again. Our regular groomer has a poodle of her own and is so gentle with our babies. She always makes them look wonderful and she truly is a blessing! The girls go in this week to be groomed properly!

41.  I finally felt good enough today to sit and work in my planner. I did April - even though it's almost over - just to play around with my calendar and use different stickers and so forth in it. I love it! I'm just so thrilled with this planner! Here's some pictures...

I made the clips myself. Some are with ribbons and the others are heavy stickers that I used. I love doing all this and have so much fun! Did you see the poodle sticker on the day that the girls go to the groomer? Don't miss the little paw on that day, either! LOL  I have always loved paper, pens, planners, clips, etc., etc., and this just blesses me to no end to do all this. So fun!

What are your blessings this week?
