In Memory

Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

It's been a very horrible two days for me. I got a call yesterday morning that my Aunt passed away. It was and is such a shock that I can't even comprehend it yet. I was close to my Aunt and she was such an encourager to me. She understood me (when many didn't) and always saw the good in me. I am going to miss her.

The circumstances of her death are just too horrible to comprehend. I can't even think about it without just feeling as though my despair will never end.

She leaves behind two sons who loved her deeply. One of her sons is my age and we played together as children. Her other son is my sister's age and they also played together as children. Their pain is our pain, although, for them is something much deeper and more raw than we can comprehend. May God bless them and give them comfort.

My dear Aunt had accepted Jesus as her Savior several months back and that gives me comfort that I will indeed see her again. It also comforts me to know that she is in the Savior's Arms - free from pain - now.

I'll miss you, my dear Aunt!!

God bless you ~ Julie

  1. Oh Julie, I am just so sorry. I wish I lived closer -- not that I could do anything, but it would be nice to be able to bring a meal or do something tangible. That is really hard. God bless you, my friend.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so painful to loose someone so precious and near to us. I am praying for you. Like the other comment above said, I too wish that I lived near to come and do something for you and your family. I'm just an e-mail away.
    Much love and prayers,
    Katia
