Counting Our Blessings

It's been a long time since I did the Count Our Blessings on Tuesdays.  It's really time to get back to counting our blessings.  We all have so much to be thankful for and it's just a great thing to really think about all the blessings that our Lord gives us each and every day.  I am going to start at number one for the year 2012 and count my blessings every week.  I'm sure I'll be amazed at how many blessings I count by the end of the year - and so will you.  Please join me in Counting Our Blessings.  There is a linky at the end of this post and I hope that you'll link your blessings to mine.  Think what an encouragement we will be to ourselves and to others by focusing on our blessings.

Grab a button from the sidebar to use on your post so we can link up, too!

1.  I am so very thankful to the Lord for the fact that my husband's cancer did not go into his bones! God is so good to hear our prayers and I'm so grateful to the Lord for this blessing.

2.  My second blessing has to be my friends and my readers that come to my blog and write me or leave comments telling me that they are praying for my family and me.  It truly touches my heart so much, I can't even express it adequately.  Thank you.

3.  Seeing my first Robin of Spring was so wonderful.  I love birds and love to see the Robins in my yard.  I grew up seeing lots and lots of Robins in the Spring and Summer but when I moved here, they were no where to be found.  Then suddenly a few years back, a huge flock landed here on their way back North and they have come back and some stayed through the Summer every year.  What a blessing to see those beautiful birds again!

4.  I'm incredibly blessed to be back at church and in a Ladies Bible study.  My group is so wonderful and I have made some wonderful new friends and I'm learning so much from the study.  After a year of not being able to go to a study because of my back, this is a huge, huge blessing.  Also, being back at church is so amazing and definitely a blessing.

5.  My husband is a huge blessing.  He takes wonderful care of me, is my best friend, and is always striving to be a better man of God and husband.  He blesses our family in so many ways and I am so thankful for him.

6.  My children are so wonderful and I'm so thankful that we are close.  We have always been close and that has never changed.  In fact, I would have to say we are closer now than ever.  Having them still home, while in college, is such a blessing and I never take this time for granted.
