Many of those whose lives and stories were captured in the Bible had deep relationship with God. In this in-depth biblical biography, Beth Moore takes you on an intimate journey through David's remarkable life.

MY REVIEW:

This book takes us along on the journey of David's life. Like all Beth Moore's books, she goes into great depth and there is so much information to digest and learn. I love that it's not hard to understand, though, and yet the book is rich with the Spiritual nuggets from the Bible. This edition was updated and there are specific teachings in the book for men, however, women will still find this study amazing and full of great wisdom.

We will learn all about David's life and it starts with this little Shepherd boy who will become King and be a man after God's heart. It also gets into the sin issues that David had (and he had some huge ones), yet he continued to repent and seek his Lord. There is definitely a lesson in how David conducted his life for all of us.

I have done several Beth Moore studies and I have not been disappointed. She stays on point, Biblically, yet you feel like you truly understand and know David intimately because she brings him to life. She also shows what a loving and amazing God we have. He is with us through all things as we see when we examine David's life through this book.

I highly recommend this book. You will grow to know David and the Lord so much better. Such a beautiful story that is well written and Spiritually enriching.
