By Hank Hanegraaff
MY REVIEW:
We all long to know what heaven is like and what is going to happen when we die. This book is a compelling answer to a lot of questions regarding all this.
I enjoyed Mr. Hanegraff's writing and found it very easy to read. I have long been a fan of his and this book just reinforced that feeling. All the information is based on Scripture, which I truly appreciate.
I really enjoyed the personal stories dispersed throughout the book. It made it very interesting and kept my attention. My favorite chapter was, "How Does the AfterLife Affect My Life Now?" I liked especially how he explained how important the resurrection is. I learned so much from this chapter and it enhanced understanding of how important the resurrection really is to our walk with the Lord and understanding what Jesus did for us.
I also really appreciate the Glossary in the back that has some of those words we hear all the time, but we're not sure exactly what they mean. He gives an indepth explanation of these words that make it easy to understand and cleared up a lot of my misconceptions.
So many of my questions were answered in this book. I felt like I learned so much and gained so much insight into God's plan for us regarding heaven and how our life here counts for eternity.
I highly recommend this book!

Thank you, Julie, for reading and so very thoughtfully reviewing AfterLife. I especially appreciate your observation that Hank grounds his views in Scripture. Indeed, the Bible calls us to test everything by the standard of Scripture. AfterLife helps us to live in Christ here and now with a true eternal perspective. Blessings to you!
