MY REVIEW:

This is the second book of the "Days of Redemption" series. I didn't read the first book, however, it didn't take me long to understand who was who in this book. So, if you haven't read the first one, don't hesitate the start with this second book (although I'm sure, like me, you'll enjoy it so much you'll want to read the first book!).

This is a very sweet story of two people trying to escape something - for Amanda it's the grief of losing her husband and for Roman, it's the drama in his family. I love how the author shows that we can find love anywhere at anytime. Roman and Amanda never dream that they will meet that special someone while Roman is on vacation for only a week! It's a perfect picture of how the Lord has a plan and works things together for us in a way we wouldn't have imagined.

I really enjoyed seeing Roman come out of his shell and his relationship with Amanda's little girl, Regina. It's so sweet seeing how they blossom because of the trust that Regina has in him and how Amanda sees how special he is through her little girl's eyes.  I love a book where you feel like you really know the characters and are sad when the book ends! I highly recommend this book - the perfect summer/beach read!
