MY REVIEW:

This book touched my heart in so many ways. Ann lays her soul bare so that we know that we are not alone in our longing for more of God. I shed so many tears from sorrow but also from my heart being touched by what she shares about the Lord.

I love how Ann shares her journey from wounded child to wounded adult, longing for a deeper relationship with God. Needing and longing to see Him as the loving God that He is. As she is searching the Bible, she realizes that it's thankfulness - it's focusing on the blessings - that makes a difference.  She starts to live a life of eucharisteo, a Greek word for thanksgiving, and shows us how we can do the same.

I love her writing - it's poetic and touching. This is not a book you rush through. This is a book you savor and then apply to your own life and walk with the Lord. This book will make you look differently at your life. Your blessings, the goodness of God, and you'll be thankful.

I love this book. It's a book that you'll need to read - want to read - again and again. As a mother, this book blessed me more than I can express. She shares her thankfulness for her husband, children and her life, in ways that has made me do the same. I was already a thankful person, but this book make me look at my life and all the Lord has done for me in an even more thankful way. This book is a must have!
