131. We are doing major moving in our home right now. My husband's home office has been in our family room for quite some time and we all decided it wasn't right for us. It took up a lot of space in there and looked unsightly, too. So last week my youngest son decided to just get started and move my hubby's office into our fourth bedroom. His goal was to get most of it moved in one day and he pretty much did it! I should have taken before pictures, but I didn't know he was doing all this until he had already started. In any case, here's a small picture of what it looks like right now. It's a mess!
I am starting to see the vision, though, and it really is such a dream come true to have this getting done!
132. See those two bookshelves in the above picture? Those are going to be moved into the living room and soon they will hold these...
This is just a small sampling of the many books that I own. I love books and I have a hard time not getting them over-flowing throughout the house. I am going to fill those two book cases and then that's it. I will be purging as I go through them to put up on the shelves. I am extremely blessed with so many wonderful books!
133. These are my inspiration pictures for my family room.
Now mind you...my furniture is not this fancy, although I do love it and I love the color. What I really like is how they set everything up. I like the conversation areas. I was going to have my books in the family room, however, I've decided to move them to the living room where the computer is set up and the large TV is. I want to make the family room more fancy and more about quiet corners where you can read or listen to music. I am blessed to have the opportunity to make my home a place of retreat for my family and friends.
134. My son was exhausted after worked hard all day so he decided to relax and play his computer game - the one I play with him - Guild Wars. I looked over and saw this
This just tickles me pink! He has two computers on TV trays and one on his lap. That's his head peeping over the one computer. (Ignore the mess everywhere - more stuff being moved from room to room). I just had to laugh. Next to me was my son with his iPad (you can see it on the bottom of the picture) and I actually had my computer on my lap, too. LOL This picture just blesses me!
135. I received something special in the mail the other day!! Here's what was on the front of the envelope...
Isn't that adorable?!! I was so blessed by this and what was inside the envelope. I will share all about it on it's own post because it deserves it's own spotlight! Needless to say, I was totally blessed by this!
Now it's your turn...what are your blessings this week? Link up on this post and share your own!
