Counting Our Blessings - Link Up!

It's been a crazy week. I'm still trying to recover from the diverticulitis. It's better tonight, so I'm hopeful that I'll be fine and ready to go for my surgery. If my doctor doesn't give the okay, I will have to postpone my surgery so praying earnestly that I get this infection taken care of.

Okay...let's get started on our blessings!

11.  I'm so very thankful to have such a wonderful doctor. I'm one of those who lost my doctor when the new insurance came into being. I was very upset, but God is so good, and I actually have a doctor I like even better. It's also wonderful because she is in a clinic where they can do x-rays and other tests right in the clinic. I've learned to trust God when these things happen and know that He will bless me even more than I can imagine. I was so blessed to be able to get in Monday morning when I knew I was sick with the diverticulitis. God cares about everything in our lives and I am so blessed by that!

12.  I got my walker today and I'm so thankful for that! My doctor ordered me one that I can sit on, if needed, and I'm so thrilled. It's one less thing to worry about and I'm glad I can check that off my list! My doctor thinks of these things - like being able to sit down - and I'm so blessed to have such a sweet person taking care of me!

13.  I'm so blessed to be able to read so many wonderful books and I never take it for granted that I'm allowed to read and review books. I've been reading like crazy and have been so blessed by this! I love reading and what a blessing to get to read the latest, wonderful Christian books!

14.  My husband had his yearly heart test (he had open heart surgery in 2007) and we are all so thankful that all looks good! This is such a blessing to all of us! I was so relieved and thank God so much for this wonderful blessing!

What have your blessings been this week?  Link up and share your blessings!

Blessings - Julie

  2. I am still praying Julie! I am glad your husband is doing well too. The headaches are slight now. Still hoping they go away of course. My hip pain is very low! Praise be to God!
