Book Review - Love Without End

ABOUT THE BOOK:

Love Without End || A King's Meadow Romance

Chet and Kimberly have both failed when it comes to love. Will they risk their hearts to love again?

Chet Leonard's life was forever changed when his 17-year-old son died and then, soon after, his wife walked out on their family. Over two years later, all he wants to do is hold onto his horse ranch and raise his remaining sons to be honorable men.

Kimberly Welch, widowed mother of Tara, a rebellious 15-year-old, has reached the end of her finances and nearly the end of her rope. She and Tara come to King's Meadow to try to piece their lives back together again. Kimberly has no intention of becoming involved with the residents of this remote mountain community and certainly not with any man.
When octogenarian Anna McKenna returns to King's Meadow and to the Leonard ranch, she becomes an agent of change and healing for the two hurting families. With her help, Kimberly and Chet may discover that true love has no end.

MY REVIEW:

I enjoyed this book from the beginning page to the end. I loved the interweaving of the story of Anna McKenna and then Kimberly and Chet. I really liked the background of Anna and how she came to be on the ranch.

Kimberly is a widow that has lost everything - her husband, her home, and her life. Her daughter, Tara, is having a really hard time with all that has happened to her and all she has lost. They are now living in Idaho, with Kimberly's friend, and Tara is gifted a pinto pony that is skittish but has a lot of potential. Kimberly is told about Chet, a man who has the gift of working with horses and she asks him if he can help her daughter with the pony.

Chet is a father of two sons that is himself, skittish. He lost his son to an accident and then his wife left him and she has never been in touch with him or their sons again. He finds himself drawn to Kimberly, though, and we watch them try to get to know each other.

My favorite character in the book is Anna. I love her story and her faith. She is so wise and knows exactly what makes people react the way they do. She always is so thankful for where God has brought her and she's a great example of joy in the Lord! I really enjoyed her story.

This is a wonderful book! Such a believable, yet sweet, story! I enjoyed the story so much and the characters. It's just the perfect balance of a lovely story along with not really knowing what's going to happen. I definitely had a hard time putting it down because I wanted to know what happened next. I think you'll love this story as much as I did and I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
