Follow the journey of five individuals as they tell authentic stories of circumstances that have forced them to examine how God might fit into their lives.

This five-week small group resource helps spark spiritual conversations. Starting spiritual conversations with those outside of the church is a worthy, yet often difficult and intimidating task. Intersect was designed to help overcome those barriers. It is an easy-to-use resource, perfect for sharing with co-workers, friends, neighbors, and family to enter into meaningful conversations.

Each film is accompanied by thought-provoking questions designed to encourage participants to examine the world in which they live and the life they are pursuing, always ending with a conversation on how Jesus intersects the current topic. Allow this powerful new film resource to engage those you are in relationship with and then propel them forward in their next step with Jesus.

Rob Peabody is the cofounder and international director of Awaken, a nonprofit that exists to resource the church for action. Awaken creates resources that inspire, educate, and equip local churches to live as Kingdom-bringers in their communities. In 2011, Rob and his wife, Medea, along with their two boys left his position as a lead campus pastor at a megachurch in Texas to pioneer and lead a church seeking to engage unreached 20s and 30s in northeast London. He is the author of Citizen: Your Role in the Alternative Kingdom.

This DVD surpassed all my expectations of what it was going to be. I actually thought it might be a little dry based on what I had read about it, but was I wrong!

This DVD is meant to spark questions and does it ever! I loved the thoughts that each of the people shared and then what the authors said after these interviews. This DVD definitely sparks those questions that so many of us wonder about. It really made me think about what they were saying and how I could relate to so much of what they were saying.

There are 5 sections to the DVD and they are titled:
      1.  Expectations
      2.  Rest
      3. Disappointment
      4. Trust
      5. Control

Each section has an interview with someone who shares about these different topics and how God fits into all of it for them. It is all about exactly what the title says - how our lives and God intersect.

This definitely would be a great in a small group of Christians but it would also be a great tool for sharing the Gospel with those who don't know the Lord. These are real people with real problems and they share how having God in their lives has changed things. There's not pressure - these are people that we can all relate to!

I watched this DVD a few times just because I was so impressed with the topics and how they were shared. The film is also done beautifully on the streets and beaches of England - mostly in London. It emphasizes how God fits into our real, every day lives. It's very well produced. I definitely recommend this DVD and give it 5 out of 5 stars.
