No one needs to push Nikki Boyd to excel on the Tennessee Missing Persons Task Force. The case of her own missing sister, still unsolved after ten years, is the driving force in her work. When a Polaroid photo of a missing girl shows up at a crime scene, Nikki quickly recognizes similarities to the past. The closer she gets to the abductor, the more she feels this case has become personal, and she is not the hunter . . . but the hunted.

MY REVIEW:
How in the world have I never read a book by Lisa Harris?! She is absolutely one of my new favorite authors and I am going to be reading everything of hers that I can get my hands on!
Vendetta is a wonderful book of mystery, intrigue, and a touch of romance. I love a good mystery book and this is not just good but great.
Nikki is an agent on the Missing Person Task Force and she has a personal mission that drives her in her job. Her own sister was abducted when she was a teenager and Nikki feels a lot of responsibility for her disappearance because she was supposed to pick her up that day and was late. After 10 years, she is still looking for her sister and the man who abducted her.
Her latest case brings all this to the surface and Nikki is obsessed about finding this new girl, Bridget. She has connected with someone online and it all spirals downward from there. Her case has her good friend, Tyler, helping her on this case. Her other team members are just as memorable especially Jack! Each of the characters is so developed and well thought out that you'll remember them all! I think the greatest thing I can say about this book is that I had no idea who the bad guy was until the author revealed him and that's saying something! I was shocked and that just added to the appeal of this wonderful book!
I highly recommend this book and give it 5 out of 5 stars.
