Book Review - The Berenstain Bears, Love One Another

ABOUT THE BOOK:

Most of the Bear’s neighbors are like the Bear family- they keep their homes neat and clean. Except for the Bogg Brothers who live in a run-down shack. In The Berenstain Bears Love Their Neighbors children learn that being a good neighbor takes more than keeping a nice home.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Mike Berenstain is an American writer and illustrator of children’s books. The son of Stan and Jan Berenstain, he continues the Berenstain Bears series of picture books that his parents inaugurated in 1962.

MY REVIEW:

I love the Berenstain Bears and this book is just perfect! It's a sweet story about loving one another and helping others to show that love.

The book starts out with Mama making berry muffins with the cubs help. They are quite disappointed when they realize that the muffins are not for them but for Mrs. Grizzly, who just had twins. However, Mama reminds them what they learned in Sunday school about loving one another.
The story then shows how the cubs help to show love to one another by helping out and spending time with little Honey.

I love the message in this book that shows children how they can show love and care for others just by doing simple acts and chores for others. It is a board book, which are so wonderful for little hands, and the illustrations and colors are just wonderful.

This would make a wonderful gift for a child and they would definitely love the story and the sweet characters of the bears. I highly recommend this book and give it 5 out of 5 stars.
