It's time to count our blessings!!
41. I am healing nicely and saw my surgeon last Friday. He removed the staples and declared me done! So now, it's just a matter of letting the incision completely heal, as well as the stomach muscles that are very painful right now. I'm still sleeping a lot but that helps my healing so I just sleep when I need to. I am so very thankful that this horrible episode is behind me and that I'm healing and can move forward.
42. I started a new afghan as a gift for someone special. I can't share who it's for at this time but I can show you a picture of it.
I'm using a Caron Cake in the Rainbow Sherbert color. I just love all these colors! I would have never put these colors together myself but love how they look. This will be an afghan that resembles the one I did for my son, but it won't be as big. I really enjoy this pattern as it's easy yet looks so nice.
43. I finished my Happy Spring magnets I had shared with you a few weeks ago. I really like the one on the top best - especially the little pom-pom tail.
These are my own designs and it was fun to create my own designs again.
44. I've been painting my birdhouse that my youngest son made me. It's such a wonderful birdhouse and I'm painting these cheerful flowers on it. These are just the beginning as I will be making the flowers really detailed and fun.
I just love this birdhouse and I'll bet the birds will, too! 😊
45. For fun, I've been painting these little sea shells I got at the dollar store. I got a whole bag for a dollar and thought I could do something with them.
I'm going to see if my youngest son can drill them at the top and then I could hang them on a tree. I think these are so fun. I'm thinking it would be really inspiring if I can write Scripture on them, too. I'll have to just see what I can do.
I am so very thankful to be feeling so creative again and to be feeling like ME! Praising God for all He has done and continues to do for me!!
Now it's your turn to share your blessings! You can share on the linky below or in the comments.
