MY REVIEW:

This is a wonderful devotional filled with 365 days of really great devotions as well as Scripture and prayer.

This devotional focuses on the fruit of the Spirit - allowing the Spirit to work through us in God's timing and purpose. Each day focuses on being patient, faithful, having self-control, being gentle, kind, loving, or joyful. Of finding peace through God in working to have the fruits of the Spirit in our life.  I love that she says that we need to continue our journey even when we aren't these things - when we have the bad days, we start again, and ask God to help us.

Each day starts with a Scripture and then a thoughtful, personal story from Kim that I really resonated with. It was nice how she was so honest and open about her own Christian journey and then showing us, through Scripture, how we can gain a deeper relationship with God. At the end of the devotion, there's a short prayer that helps us to focus on what we learned through the Scripture and devotional for that day.

This devotional will definitely help you focus each morning on getting into the Word and is a great way to then get into your Bible reading. I liked so much how she focused on really putting the fruits of the Spirit to work in our life, but ultimately, surrendering to God and having joy and peace in the process.  I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
