Book Review - When Jesus Answers

When Jesus answers, we have hope. In a world filled with anger, and hearts bound by despair, our hope is found as we listen to the intimate, healing voice of God. His voice alone is the essential secret to peace and contentment, to freedom from all fears.

When Jesus Answers will open your heart to hear God speak His words of truth and love, enabling you to truly live the life you were created to live—within the intimate embrace of His presence. With an engaging collection of personal testimony, Biblical scripture, allegory and powerful songs of hope, Loren Loving clears the path back to our faithful and most gracious Heavenly Father.

We all need the great news of a Messiah who heals our brokenness and sets us free from our bondage. In Him alone we find healing, transformation, and the refuge of eternal peace and love.

Loren Loving is a litigation attorney and former political activist – notably she defeated 5 opponents in her party’s primary race for the Ohio State Senate and also created new law in America when she recovered unprecedented pain and suffering damages for the wrongful death of an unborn child. Loren has been very active as both a board member and volunteer for many charitable organizations.

In addition to law school and graduate training in remedial reading specialization, Loren attended one of the best Bible universities in the United States for her undergraduate work and then for many years sat under the teaching of one of America’s finest, internationally known pastors. Despite years of biblical studies and years of church attendance, still Loren thought all Jesus offered her was an invitation to heaven. Personal tragedies finally drove her to find His healing voice. For over 25 years, including 8 years on the mission fields of Europe, Africa, India, and Israel, Loren has shared the vital message of the intimacy and power of God’s voice. Now she offers it to you.

Loren is the mother of 2 adult daughters, has 4 grandchildren, is currently a First Amendment, First Commandment, and Human Rights advocate, and is also an equine assisted healing counselor and advisor.

This book is unlike anything I've ever read and I was so comforted and inspired by each and every word written within.

This book is not a fast read, by any means, but it's one to be savored and enjoyed as the author shares Scripture and her heart throughout these pages. She shares her own journey of feeling unloved, rejected and worthless from her childhood forward and how she thought by being a good girl would help her to feel loved. I liked how she shared her heart and was so open - it made me feel like she knew what it was like to go through hardships.

I enjoyed how the author combined Scripture with praise music. Combining both of these was so beneficial to my heart and I loved the songs she shares. Some were new to me and, as I do listen to music as I study the Bible, this was truly a balm to my heart.

This is a book I will return to again and again as there is so much to be learned through this book. It's a book that shares Biblical truths in a way that reminds me that I am truly loved by God. I highly recommend this book and give it 5 out of 5 stars.
