In Memory - Please PRAY!

One of my dear friends is going through something so horrible, my mind and heart just can't even comprehend it. She lost her little three year old son last night to a drowning. Little "Dozer" (as she lovingly referred to him) was out swimming with his Dad, Grandfather and other brothers. He took off his life jacket to go into the house and then disappeared. No one saw him slip back into the pond. The rescue divers found him last night at almost 10pm.

Please, please pray for Marsha, David and their two sons. Please continue to pray for them in the upcoming weeks and months. The heartache and loss will continue on and they need our prayers!

As the mother of two active sons, I remember how they could just slip out of our eyesight so easily when they were younger. In fact, just after moving on our acreage here, they both slipped away and we found them at the cow pond down the road. They were 3 and 5 years old. Thank God, there was only about 6 inches of water in there and they were fine. The little one's boots were stuck in the mud and he was standing there in his stocking feet trying to pull them out. They were in the backyard one minute and gone the next - I was watching them but turned my back for a minute and they were gone! I know this can happen to anyone and there but for the Grace of God go I.

Please hold this dear family up in prayer. May the Lord comfort them and hold them.

God bless you ~ Julie

  1. Hi Julie,
I received your e-mail. Oh how sad this is. Both my mother and grandmother have lost young children. They both said, it's an explainable pain. no one knows until they have to go through it.
    She will need our prayers.
    (((hugs))))

  4. That is every mother's worst nightmare come true - the loss of one of her little ones. May our Lord keep them close and bathe them in His comfort in their time of grief.
