30 Years!!

Today my husband and I have been married for thirty years!! Thirty years!! My first thought was to think back on all those people who believed we would never make it. I honestly don't really think there were too many people in our family or our circle of friends that thought we would stay married but we have.  We have had our ups and downs but through it all, my husband and I have clung hard to each other and worked on our marriage every year to make it better.  My husband is my best friend and confident.  I know that he is with me through thick and thin as I am with him.  He has proven himself over and over and been a steady rock to cling to here on this earth.  He is a Godly man who loves the Lord and is constantly in His Word and praying.  I know that He looks to the Lord for direction and guides his family through this wisdom.  I am blessed and am thankful for these 30 years of being married to my sweetheart.  I'm looking forward to the next 30 years with him.

God bless you - Julie

  3. Happy Anniversary, and I say the same thing, many said we would not stay married too, I was just 17 and he 19 when we said I do. We had our 51st anniversary Sept 10th, so I say yes we can, and forthose who get opposition from the family I say follow your heart.
