The Giver of All Great Gifts!

How can I express my thankfulness to our great God and King? He is so faithful and kind and I am beyond thankful to Him - the giver of all great gifts!

As you know, my son had his test yesterday. It was a very long day. A test that was supposed to begin at 11:30, didn't begin until almost 3:00. Lots of waiting around and anxiousness for my son and for us. There were situations that came up with other patients and our doctor was delayed because of these situations.

The results were these:
The doctor said he didn't see any real discernable narrowing of the aorta. He said that it may be slightly narrowed, but it's so slight, it has no bearing on how the heart is functioning. He checked the cirulation and there is a 10 point difference between where the blood goes into the aorta and where it goes out, which is apparently really no big deal. He said the flow of blood looked good every where and that his heart was functioning well. We saw the DVD of the heart and we could see the aorta and how it was functioning with the dye going through it.

He is going to be cautious and send the test results to a pediatric cardiologist to make sure that he concurs with the results. The pediatric cardiologist sees this sort of thing all the time and if there is a problem, he will catch it immediately. However, I am confident that our doctor is correct and I'm also confident in my Lord, so I am peaceful about all this.

Mostly, I am praising my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who hears our prayers and works things together in amazing ways that bless and amaze!  Praise the Lord for his grace and love!

I thank you, too, dear readers, for your prayers and encouragement. I am forever grateful for you.

God bless you - Julie
