MY REVIEW:

 

This book is so good for any of us going through a battlefield. Let's be honest, we have just come out of a battle, are in a battle, or are preparing for a battle. Life can be very difficult, but Bo Stern gives us a book full of hope for those battles.

 

I was most touched and blessed by Bo's honesty in this book. Her husband has ALS and this is a huge battlefield. She is honest about those times that she barely hangs on, but then, is equally honest about how the Lord holds her up. 

My very favorite part of the book are the questions at the end of each chapter. I love them because they help me to focus on how to fight my battles, with God's help, and also puts my focus on the fact that the Lord is with us as we do battle. 

I found this book very helpful as I fight the battle of pain. So much of what Bo shared totally related to my battle. The greatest thing is, her book will also relate to whatever your battle is and give you practical, Biblical ways to deal with your battle.

I will be keeping this next to my chair so that on those days I need direction, hope, and comfort in my battle, I can open this wonderful book for help! 

I highly recommend this book - it really is a great book to help you with whatever battle you're facing.
