It's been a rather tough week, here at the homestead. I've been feeling under the weather since Wednesday and so very tired. I'm not sure if I caught something or if it's from the bug bite that I got on my foot while sleeping about a week ago. It was so painful, it actually woke me up. It's still red, but no swelling, and seems to be better than when I got it, but it's still painful. Perhaps I'm fighting off that horrible little things venom - whatever it was. Probably a spider of some sort. I'm still having horrible pain from my knees, which doesn't help either.
My Bible study on Tuesday night was so precious. We had a potluck and took the time to chat around our tables while eating. I enjoy this time as it allows us to talk about what's happening with us and share a bit more. We are on Spring break this next week so it will give me a chance to, hopefully, get over whatever ails me.
I've been working on my cross stitch project.
This is a Little Needlework House pattern that was in the Just Cross Stitch Magazine - March/April 2010 issue. This is the picture from the magazine - not my actual piece. I just love this! Here's a pic of my piece...I'm almost done. It's hard to tell because I didn't want to remove it from my frame, but I had to share.
I'm hoping to have this done by Easter! I just love this pattern - as I do all of the Little Needlework House patterns.

Hi Julie! I am hoping your pain has eased a bit by now. I am praying it is so. Your stitching looks great. Keep at it! You will have it done. ;)
