Book Review - For the Love

ABOUT THE BOOK:

The popular writer, blogger, and television personality reveals with humor and style how Jesus' extravagant grace is the key to dealing with life's biggest challenge: people.

The majority of our joys, struggles, thrills, and heartbreaks relate to people, beginning first with ourselves and then the people we came from, married, birthed, live by, live for, go to church with, don't like, don't understand, fear, struggle with, compare ourselves to, and judge. People are the best and worst thing about the human life.

Jen Hatmaker knows this all too well, and so she reveals how to practice kindness, grace, truthfulness, vision, and love to ourselves and those around us. By doing this, For the Love leads our generation to reimagine Jesus' grace as a way of life, and it does it in a funny yet profound manner that Christian readers will love. Along the way, Hatmaker shows readers how to reclaim their prophetic voices and become Good News again to a hurting, polarized world.

MY REVIEW:

This book is amazing! I just could not put it down because it captured my attention from the very first and I just didn't want to put it down!

I love that Jen has such a heart for us women to view ourselves as complete as we are. She shares how we are looking at other women and comparing ourselves and always coming up short in the process. She shares the truth that God gives us each special gifts that are uniquely and wonderfully ours!

I also loved this book because it made me laugh out loud! I love her humor and how she finds such joy in life and shares that joy with her readers. Another fun thing about this book are the recipes she shares throughout, as well.  They are easy, yet delicious looking recipes she cooks for her family.

This book is so uplifting, so full of  joy, and makes you feel so good about the woman created you to be, that it's a must read for every woman! She makes you want to know the Lord better and to thank Him for all He has done. I highly recommend this book and give it 5 out of 5 stars. You can find a link to purchase this book below.
