I love this devotional! Of course, that's not a huge surprise as I have been loving the books of Holley Gerth for over two years now. I mean, each and every one has impacted my life in a really positive way and drawn me closer to God in deeper ways.
This devotional is 30 truths for you to read each day as a part of your quiet time or really anytime. I love this because I like the idea of reading it through and then starting again at the beginning of the month. The thing about Holley's writing is that you are constantly finding new nuggets of truth and wisdom when you re-read them so that's what I'm going to do.
These aren't tiny little one paragraph devotionals. They dig deep into the truth of God and give you a real deep truth to ponder for your life. Then at the end of the devotional, she gives you questions to think over and answer. The questions aren't little "yes or no" answers but questions that will have you really thinking about what you believe. Again, that's why this book is the perfect devotional to do over and over because you can really think about the answers.
As always, Holley points to the source of our love and contentment as the Lord. She has such wonderful Scriptures throughout and shares true Biblical wisdom. I have the book, Bible study and DVD's that go along with this devotional and they make a wonderful set for truly getting into how much God loves us just as we are.
I highly recommend this devotional! It's so good and really is a life changing little book. I love it and give it 5 out of 5 stars.
