Counting Our Blessings - LinkUp

I'm sorry I missed last weeks linkup. I had a rough week of not feeling well and just wasn't up to it. Thankfully, I'm doing better and am back with this weeks blessings. Join me, won't you?

45.  I have my grandmother's corner cabinet and dining room table that I got when she passed away many years ago. They have been such treasures and I love them so much. Last week, I was looking at a local used furniture's website where I have gotten things before and was shocked to see a cabinet that matched exactly my corner cabinet and table. They are Ethan Allen pieces and this one is, too! I knew I had to have this piece as how amazing was it to find something that was from the 60s and matched my set?

I had to take down a book shelf to find room for it, but it was totally worth it! I just love this piece and am so blessed to have seen it.

46.  We had a lovely Father's Day for my hubby. I made a roast for him and we gave him a John MacArthur book and some teaching DVD's. We played one of his favorite games, Sorry, and he even won a game! He had a nice day and we were blessed to have our two sons here to celebrate

47.  I've been working on the Queen Elizabeth cross stitch and here's an update of how it's looking. You can finally see the castle that is in the background behind the Queen.

I'm really enjoying this piece and I can't wait to see more stitches!

What are your blessings for this week? Share on the linkup or in the comments. :)

  1. What a lovely china cabinet you have purchased. Your cross stitch looks great. So nice that you were all together for Father's Day. Do the boys ever play their instruments anymore?
