ABOUT THE BOOK:
The case may be cold, but things are about to heat up
Forensic genealogist Willow Anderson is following in her late grandfather's footsteps in her quest for answers about a baby abducted from a hospital more than twenty years ago. When someone makes an attempt on Willow's life to keep her from discovering the truth, help will come from an unexpected source.
Ex-FBI agent--and Willow's ex-flame--Austin McKade readily offers to protect the woman he never should have let get away. Together they'll follow where the clues lead them, even if it means Austin must face the past he's spent much of his life trying to forget--and put Willow's tender heart at risk.

MY REVIEW:
Such an interesting and suspenseful book! It had me twisting and turning and guessing all the way to the end!
Willow is a forensic genealogist (who knew there was such a thing?) that has been asked by a woman to find her daughter who was stolen from the hospital right after being born. It's been over twenty years and other detective agencies have all hit a dead end. There's a clock on finding the daughter as her mother has cancer and not long to live.
Austin McKabe is an ex-FBI agent that Willow's grandfather had asked to help with the case. As it would happen, Austin happens to be Willow's ex boyfriend and she's not looking forward to working with him. However, as the case grows and they follow their leads, it becomes clear that his expertise and protection are much needed.
I really enjoyed the setting of Wyoming in this book and how the author made us feel as though we were there. I really enjoyed the fact that I had no idea who was behind all the things that were happening and was amazed at the satisfying ending.
If you enjoy mysteries that keep you guessing, you'll love this book as much as I did. It's a great book that I thoroughly enjoyed and give 5 stars.
