Another Birthday

It's time for another birthday! Yep, today I'm another year older. It happens every year around this time. Amazing, huh?

The week in review: It was so nice to finally have something besides election information on the news. Now we have post-election news. *sigh* I guess at least it's something new. Personally, I'm watching a lot of Spongebob Squarepants these days. I know . . . it's sad, isn' it? It's about all my brain can handle right now after the big election hoopla!

The new Michael W. Smith CD is wonderful! I can highly recommend it. It's much on the order of his Praise CD's he did. I've really enjoyed listening to it over and over and over . . .

I finished reading Bill O'Reilly's new book, "A Fresh, Bold Piece of Humanity" and it was so good. Honestly, I had a hard time putting it down and finished it in three nights of reading before sleep. It actually kept me up longer than I would have liked because I had a hard time putting it down. I usually trade in books or pass them on to someone, but this will be a book for my bookshelf (if I can find room!) as I would read or refer to it again. Very inspiring and funny.

I'm looking forward to my birthday - day. I don't know what my family has in mind, but I do know that my hubby ordered my favorite cake - white cake with real whipped cream frosting - and it will have purple roses (another favorite). He has been telling me for weeks he has my birthday gift, so it must be something pretty special as this is unusual for him to keep telling me this. My mother-in-law will be coming over to have cake with us. I'm very blessed to have such a wonderful family and that is such a great gift.

God bless you - Julie
